Easy and Budget Friendly ways to Decorate For Christmas Using Ribbons And Bows
If you’ve read my blog post about decorating staples I use for other occasions, you know I’m a huge fan of reusing things over and over and over again. It’s both convenient AND it saves you a hell of a lot of money.
- Ribbons and Bows
I put ribbons and bows on everything from vases, art pieces, cutting boards, lamps, and everything in between. Surprisingly I have many saved from the dollar store over the years, but there are also many you can get online. This is probably the easiest most impactful way to decorate–whether you’re more of a simple decorator, or one that loves to go all out.
Nothing was safe from bows.
And don’t be afraid to layer ribbons.
Just a simple bow makes a world of a difference.
I don’t decorate much in the bedrooms, but even the simplest ribbon can make the entire room feel festive.
2. Old Christmas Ornaments
You can get some really cheap ornaments at the dollar store too! These are super old, and only amplified some of the bows I was adding everywhere.
It makes such a big impact with the little pre-made bows. These pre-made bows have little wires on the back that are super easy to wrap around anything.
3. Greenery scraps
Taking the bows and ornaments a step further with some greenery scraps–whether faux or real. I loved making these little wreaths.
4. Frame old gift bags
5. Framing wrapping paper
6. Spruce up your gallery wall
